Due to increasing turnover,(retirement of more experienced employees.) The truth is that people are not waiting around to see what the next decrease in retirements, pensions, and benefits will be. That's fine with receent college grads because it can lead to opportunities for inexperienced yet educated individuals to enter the public safety field. Law Enforcement agencies and agencies that provide public safety such as fire, police and homeland security, need to fill positions at every level to highly experienced.
